Drake has previously announced that his new album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ will be postponed again. Drake announced the album in October of last year on his 34th birthday with a short video teaser. The sixth album follows up the chart-topping ‘Scorpion’ which was released in June of 2018. Fans have been left in awe for nearly 3 years as they wait patiently for the new album. Unfortunately, they will have to wait a little longer for that music magic as Drake has postponed the release. It was due to drop this January, but due to circumstances, it has been set back.

The rapper has been dropping hints to fans that new music’s arrival is soon. His singles’ success includes ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’, ‘Toosie Slide’, ‘Life Is Good’ and ‘Going Bad’.

Drake has commented :

“I was planning to release my album this month but between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” he wrote on his Instagram story.

“I’m blessed to be back on my feet feeling great and focused on the album, but CLM won’t be dropping in January,” he continued, “I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”

Hopefully, the album will be released soon, but for now, I will leave you with the Instagram post put online by the man himself to remind you that it will definitely be worth the wait.
