Luminox and survival expert Bear Grylls have rolled out their second collaboration in the form of a watch using recycled ocean plastics.
A removable keeper on the strap lists the Grylls’ Rule of 3 for use in survival situations; three minutes without air, three hours without shelter, three days without water and three weeks without food.
“Whether you are an adventurist or just an enthusiast, understanding this rule reminds us to be smart about the time we have and to be humble,” says Grylls. “I am proud of the new watch and the case material which will result in less plastic in our oceans.”
The quartz watch is water resistant to 200m and features Luminox’s micro gas tube-based Light Technology, that is guaranteed to illuminate the watch for 25 years.
